We are going to open up John 15 and we are going to answer two foundational questions that come with following Jesus… How do I grow in my relationship with Jesus? How is my growth in Jesus evidenced in my life? The answer is through KPWO. Not sure what KPWO is? Be More Than Routine

A Weekly routine. A daily routine. A Sunday routine. We all get into routines in life. Some of us more than others but routines define at least some part of each and every one of our lives. We go to work. We come home. We rest. We eat. We sleep. We get up the next day and do it all again. Maybe even a part of our routine is to go to church. We serve in the church even. Yet, as routine as it may seem church, and who you are as a member of the church is something so much more than routine. Join us as close out our Dear Church sermon series by looking at Acts 2:42-47 and its reminder that we are called to something so much more and better than routine.

Suffer together

Why did God give us the Church? You might be surprised at 1st Peter Five’s Answer Sunday we continue our Dear Church series by looking at 1st Peter 5:1-11. This passage is often known as the “pastor passage” and it is. It gives us a clear picture of the way pastors are called to shepherd the flock and how the flock. Both pastors and church members are called to follow the Chief Shepherd. We will unpack the right makeup of a flock tomorrow in our study. But going deeper than that I believe this passage helps us answer an overarching question we may have or be faced with when it comes to church. Why did God create the Church? What is the true gift in this gift? Join us as we dive into God’s Word to find out!

Return to Jerusalem

The day we get to see such a clear picture of what Heaven will be like as we welcome Mount Airy EC, and Pequea Presbyterian Churches into our worship gathering in celebration of our 145th anniversary! Bishop Randy Sizemore will be with us and deliver a message from Acts 1:1-12 entitled “Return to Jerusalem as we celebrate 145 years of the goodness of our God! Be a Spirit-Filled Church

This weekend we begin a brand new sermon series that will unpack the why and the how of the Church. Why does the Church exist? How did it come to be? How should the Church live? These are just a few questions we will attempt to answer over the next four weeks of this study. To begin, we will dive into Ephesians 5:18-33 to see how we can head the Apostle Paul’s call to be a spirit-filled Church.
