Likely, if you are reading this email you are familiar with the Christmas story. The reality of Jesus’s birth. Mary and Joseph traveled a great distance only to have to give birth in a stable’s manger. But as we gather this weekend… I would like us to consider the “why” that makes this story matter. Why does it matter that this boy from Nazareth was born in Bethlehem’s stable? I will give you a hint… the answer to that question is founded on a right understanding of who Jesus is. John 1:1-14 gives us that right understanding of the identity of Jesus and I would invite you to join us Sunday at 9 AM for this powerful study of the identity and grace of Jesus.

Trust Along the Way

Knock, Knock, No I am not getting ready to tell a bad joke… but those knocks that you hear is God calling you trust Him and His plan for you. God knocked on a young girl’s door in Mary many years ago and her example of trust in God is one worth studying all these years later. Join us as turn to Luke 1:26-38 to see how we can position our lives to trust in God. In His salvation and in His plans for our lives.

Prepare the Way

Christmas is here… which means Jesus is here… which means… you need to be ready. I don’t mean you need to have your tree decorated. I don’t mean you need to have cookies baked. I don’t even mean you need to have your gifts bought and wrapped. All those things are the noise of Christmas. Good things. But not the greatest thing about Christmas. So as we prepare for Christmas I invite you to join us in seeking to weed through the noise of Christmas and our lives to see the reality of God that Christmas shows us and the impact it has on our lives. To do that we will begin our brand new sermon series in Luke 1:5-17 by seeing the faithfulness of God to His people and His promises.
