James:1:19-27

Big Question: How do I live as a Christian?  

Big Idea: We must have a belief that behaves. 

Introduction: A burning fire 

• V. 19-21   Believers take out the trash.
  • Clean your ears out!  
• V. 22-25   Believers do what they read. 
  • Go from auditing to doing. 
• V. 26        Believers watch their mouths! 
  • Don’t ruin your testimony. 
• V. 27        Believers help the helpless.
  •   

Conclusion: On fire and loving it. 

Challenge: Is this Word still changing you? 

 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
