At Pequea Evangelical Church our purpose is to help you know and follow Jesus and the best way that we can do that is by spending daily time in the Bible.
How do we know that? Because Jesus Himself tells us in John 15 that the best way to know Him is to store His Word in our hearts. That is why we have committed to encouraging and equipping you to have a daily time, place, and plan to meet with God through His Word.
One of the ways that we do this is through our daily read throughs of the Bible where we read a chapter word-for-word and Pastor Jesse shares an insight or two that the Holy Spirit highlighted for him as he read.
We do this not for this to be your daily time in God's Word but to encourage you that being in God's Word is as simple as reading the passage. Reflecting on what the passage actually means and then how it should be applied to your life.
God's Word is a fire hydrant of applications to our daily lives and we are glad that you are here to drink with us from it.
