One of the more infamous moments in the life of Jesus is found in Mark 11:12-25 and will be our passage of study this weekend. It is when Jesus tore into the temple and toppled the tables of its traders. And it’s often used as a justification for anger. You have likely heard someone say “well Jesus got angry and toppled tables.” But what was behind Jesus’s toppling of tables? What was He trying to teach us? Those will be the questions that we will seek to answer this weekend as we close out our Neighbors & Nations series by seeing the way Jesus loved and calls us to love the nations.

We have journeyed a long way and covered a lot of ground over these past four months in the letter of 1st John. How can we summarize what John has taught us and called us to? Right Belief in Jesus. Right Behavior as we follow Jesus and to be Rooted in the rich love of Jesus. How can we do this? John closes his letter by giving us the answer… through prayer! Join your church family this weekend as we turn to 1st John 5:13-21 to see how can keep ourselves from idols and rooted in the truth and love of God.
Committed to Prayer
December 31, 2023
If you have been in the church for any amount of time you have heard that prayer is important and that we should pray. But do you really know why? Do you know the difference that prayer makes in the church and in your life? Join us as we close 2023 by beginning a new sermon series called First Things First. In this series we will unpack our core values as a church to see who we are as Christians and as a church and how we should live. And it all begins with prayer. Join us as we turn to Acts 4 to see the power of prayer and the difference prayer makes in our lives.
Dear Church, KPWO
November 26, 2023
I pray that each of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday and that you continue this season of gratitude by joining this Sunday. We are going to open up John 15 and we are going to answer two foundational questions that come with following Jesus… How do I grow in my relationship with Jesus? How is my growth in Jesus evidenced in my life? The answer is through KPWO. Not sure what KPWO is? Join us as we challenge ourselves to grow closer to God and be more like Him in what we practice and the company that we keep.
