I AM The Good Shepherd

In John 10:11-18, Jesus reveals Himself as the Good Shepherd, highlighting His unique role and authority. His sacrificial love and power to lay down His life and take it up again set Him apart. Jesus’ resurrection provides eternal life and protection, and He knows and pursues His sheep intimately. We are called to obey His commands, rest in His completed work, and live in dependence on Him, reflecting His character in our lives.

Jesus put in the Grave

We have all been in this uncomfortable situation. Where someone… a sales man or woman is telling us, pressuring us that their product is better for us. Better for us than not having said product and better for us than what we do have. Did you know that God’s Word in Hebrews 11:39-40 tells us that He, that His Son Jesus is better for us? But don’t worry God doesn’t use pushy and uncomfortable sales tactics to try to “sell us” on the fact that He is better for us… rather He shows us through the cross that He is in fact the “better” that we need. Join us as turn to Hebrews 11:39-40 and John 19:17-27 to see how the cross proves that Jesus is worth our full faith.

Jesus On Trial

It is really mind blowing when you actually pause and take a moment to think about it. But the God of the universe.. the creator of the universe… was put on trial by the universe. Put on trial by His creation. This Sunday we move ahead to John 19:1-16 in the story of Easter where we see Jesus put on trial. In the events of this trial we see who Jesus is and actually… we see who we are as well. Join us for this both sobering and joy-filled study.

Don’t Forget Love

Reaching our fullest potential. Flourishing in life and as a church. I don’t think that there are any among us who would say that they do not want to reach their fullest potential. I don’t think that there are any among us who do not wish to see Pequea Church reach its fullest potential. Where the disagreement might begin is defining what our fullest potential is as human beings and as a church. Yet, God’s Word clearly lays out what is our fullest potential and what is the definition of flourishing for humans and His Church. In fact the entire book of Ephesians which we have studied over the last three months is an in-depth explanation of human flourishing and a church’s fullest potential. Paul even leaves us with a final word of warning and the one key ingredient needed to flourish as individuals and as a church. Join us as see that ingredient and learn from the example of the Ephesian Church how to keep that key ingredient at the center of who we are and all that we do as a church and as individuals as turn to Revelation 2:1-7.

You Are Strong in the Lord

It’s not a battle that we can see. It is not a battle that we can touch with our fists or process with any of our senses. In fact, it is a battle that we cannot win! Yet it is a battle that we cannot lose. It’s a battle that you cannot lose. Confused? Join us for our final week in the book of Ephesians as we turn to Ephesians 6:10-24, Paul’s closing plea of protection and assurance.

God is all-wise
