Colossians 3:1-17

Big Question: How do we live in light of eternity today? 

Big Idea: Be different, live like Christ. 

Eternal priorities should be our moral compass. 

To be renewed you must pursue the new. 

Introduction: Thanos type renewal.  

Actions of a life lived for eternity. 

• V. 1-4    Look up with Christ. 
  • Set your hearts on things above 
• V. 5-10  Move forward like Christ. 
  • Put to death whatever belongs to your earthly nature
• V. 11      Live as one like Christ 
  • There is no _______ there is Christ 
• V. 12-17 Speak and do to the glory of God.
  •  And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Challenge: Would I sign Christ’s name to this? 

Conclusion: V. 15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
